Understanding Your Favourite Roast
Light, medium, dark. What the labels actually mean and how to pick the one you'll love.

Roast level is one of the biggest influences on how a coffee tastes. It is also one of the most misunderstood.
Light roasts
Lighter roasts keep more of the bean’s original character. Expect fruit, florals and a brighter acidity.
Medium and dark
As roasting goes on, sweetness builds and acidity drops. Dark roasts bring chocolate, smoke and body. Our house espresso sits right in the middle.
