The Simple Art of a Perfect Pour-Over

Four tools, one kettle and five minutes. Our baristas share their go-to home recipe.

You don’t need a lab to brew great coffee at home. You need fresh beans, a scale and a little patience.

Our recipe

Use 15 grams of coffee to 250 grams of water just off the boil. Bloom with 40 grams, wait 30 seconds, then pour slowly in circles until you hit 250.

Total time should land around three minutes. Too fast? Grind finer. Too slow? Go coarser.
